At Mobile World Congress High Tech Computer (HTC) unveiled the Touch Diamond2. The Touch Diamond 2 as you might have guessed, is the new Touch Diamond. The Diamond2 gets a screen upgrade, from 2.8in to 3.2in, with an accompanying resolution boost from VGA (480×640) to WVGA (480×800). The device doesn’t feel as plasticky with its brushed metal face and sides. One notable thing: the Diamond 2 takes a page from WinMo 6.5 and does away with the Start Menu and Program Listing completely. The Start Menu takes you directly to your TF3D list of customizable shortcuts and it is really, more convenient from which you can hit “All Programs” to get a text list of your programs. The phone also includes a new touch sensitive zoom bar for even faster zooming of Web pages, emails, text messages, photos or documents.
Best of all, the devices feels like they’re in far more of a market-ready state than, say, the Samsung Omnia HD
