This gorgeous looking IceBerg Speakers ‘GLA-55′ is launched by Harman Kardon. These Harman Kardon loudspeakers are made of cut crystal and according to the manufacturer would “integrate beautifully with home and office décor”. ‘It took 11 months to perfect the manufacturing process alone, to ensure the crystal looks seamless, but these aren’t meant to just be a style statement’ company says. Each GLA-55 speaker measures 14×27cm and weighs 1.2Kg The company says it’s “arguably the best 2.0 speaker system available today” and describes it as a “stylised multimedia focal point, boasting breathtaking beauty, functionality and impeccable sonic performance.” Harmon Kardon unveiled the GLA-55 see-through speakers at IFA 2008. The speakers offer 100-watt bi-amplified digital amplifier coupled with DSP equalization along with proprietary tech such as Atlas AL drivers and woofers and a CMMD tweeter as well as optimization for digital sound. The touch sensitive controls and the uber cool looks surely make a style statement. The GLA-55 system will be available in limited numbers (only 2-3000 pairs worldwide) from October, priced at £500.
