hi5 announced the launch of hi5 Games. Now the 61 million members of social networking site Hi5, can  play games with friends and others in the community. hi5’s games library contains dozens of arcade, card, casino, sports, and strategy games created by developers like Arkadium and others. The games are available immediately. Users can use Hi5’s virtual currency, or Hi5 coins, to buy premium content, advanced gaming features, and status upgrades. Gamers also can use integrated messaging, issue challenges, and invite others to play a variety of casual sports, arcade, strategy, and card games.
hi5 has taken a unique approach to monetization, combining advertising and virtual goods sales in a deeper way than many other western social networks.
