HTC is arguably the most innovative company when it comes to mobile phones, in particular those running the Windows Mobile operating system. HTC have announced a partnership with Russian carrier Scartel to produce the world’s first integrated GSM/WiMAX handset, the HTC MAX 4G. The Max 4G features an impressive hardware set that not only includes GSM calling and WiMax data, but also includes an impressive screen resolution coming in at 800 x 480 pixels. It also sports video on demand, WiFi, an accelerometer, 2 cameras, FM Radio, and a 1500mAh battery to power the whole thing. However, calls between two Yota customers will automatically be routed as VoIP calls over the WiMAX network. Like the Touch HD, the MAX 4G runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro with the TouchFLO 3D GUI. The HTC MAX 4G will support the Yota Video network and with the device you can actually display up to nine TV channels simultaneously
