Supporting Tri-band GSM/GPRS at 900/1800/1900MHz as well as Bluetooth, the JAMA 101 is powered by a Samsung CPU at 300MHz, which delivers a smooth multimedia experience, the company said. It also supports 128MB of ROM and 64MB RAM that can be extended by micro SD expansion cards. “Powered by Windows Mobile 6 software, mobile users will now have the freedom to stay connected whenever, wherever they go. The increasing need to be connected in a 24/7 world and faster response time to work demands is compelling consumers and companies alike to look for cost-effective ways to access data whilst on – the – go,” said Amajit Gupta, Director Communication and Media segment, Microsoft India. The JAMA 101 mobile phone carries a price tag of Rs 12,900.
