The limited edition Incrudo Phantom from Russia is a GSM/GPRS phone that will be available exclusively via the Euroset mobile network, presenting itself as the most durable mobile phone in the world. This handset is targeted for new billionaires in Russia due to the oil boom. it has been reported that only 10 of these phones will be released via the Euroset mobile network. To make us take these words seriously, the Russian manufacturer INCRUDO has armored the Phantom with a 2-3 mm coating made from titanium alloy.
The coating turned the handset into a bulky and heavy one that measures 106 x 45 x 18 millimeters and weighs 230 grams. And no, that is not a typo, it’s 230, not 130. Generally, phantoms are known as lightweight beings, but at this weight, the handset had better been named INCRUDO Dinosaur. A blue sapphire acts as the OK button, and the other features of this rather brick-like handset are :
- GSM/GPRS network compatibility
- 240 x 320 resolution display at 16 million colors
- 3 megapixel camera
- 8GB internal memory
Speaking of buyers, INCRUDO Phantom has a retail price of 21,750 Russian rubles (about $850) and, apparently, it can be found in several Euroset stores from Moscow.
