Inspiron Mini 9 netbook for $99 – if you buy a full-sized Dell

Dell announced Jan. 9 that it had signed a partnership deal with AT&T that will allow users to buy a Dell Inspiron Mini 9 for $99 with a two-year Internet service contract from AT&T. The Inspiron Mini 9 usually sells for about $499. The $99 price comes after a mail-in-rebate amounting to $350. But to get the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 for $99, you have to sign-up to AT&T’s Laptop Connect agreement which would require to pay a $60 monthly subscription fee plus other additional charges. There you go, there’s the catch. You can only take advantage of that price if you also order a Studio 15, XPS M1530 or XPS M1330 notebook.The Studio 15 line starts from $649, while the XPS M1530 and the XPS M1330 both start from $999.
