Japanese carrier KDDI have announced a tiny new Walkman phone by Sony Ericsson. It measures 44 x 75 x 18mm (when closed) and features a 1.8-inch LCD display with 4GB of built-in memory. It’s far from being a Japan-only ultimate handset with 8 megapixel camera and WVGA screen. It doesn’t have a 800 x 480 pixels display, a 5MP camera or other things like that.
A set of nice dedicated music keys is hidden just below the phone’s display, appearing only when you need to control the Walkman player.Â
Other than that, the specs and features of Sony Ericsson Xmini include
*A 1.8 inch TFT display with 320 x 240 pixels
*CDMA connectivity
*Clear stereo sound
*Bluetooth
*Email
*4GB of internal memory
*75 grams
*75 x 44 x 18 mm
There is no information yet on whether the phone will be available in other countries.
