LG Electronics announced that its newly unveiled LG Chocolate LG-BL40, the fourth handset it has included in the Black Label Series, would become available for purchase on the European market starting mid-September.
Officially unveiled at the end of July, the LG BL40 is one of the most interesting phones of 2009. The handset brings a wide 4 inch capacitive touchscreen display with an unusual resolution of 345 x 800 pixels and a 21:9 aspect ratio. It also features LG’s S Class UI, a 5-megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreutznach lens, 7.2Mbps UMTS/HSDPA connectivity, WiFi and aGPS.
LG’s Dr. Skott Ahn even said: “The new LG Chocolate will dramatically change the way we interact with our phones. The new Chocolate reflects the originality and sophistication of the Black Label Series and like its predecessor, we are confident that the new Chocolate will create its own legacy and further enhance our standing in the market.”

LG Still didn’t say how much the BL40 Chocolate will cost.
