LG has decided to make their Viewty Smart (LG-GC900), the follow up to their LG Viewty. Â The smart featured handset from LG, LG GC 900, also called Viewty 2, is acclaimed with official status in line with its own LG flagman the Arena. If you recall, earlier this week they posted the phone on their German blog.
“Viewty is back and better than ever, with new smart camera applications that take care of all the complicated camera adjustments and processing for you,†said Dr. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Viewty Smart represents the next generation of LG camera phones, and will drive LG leadership in the industry with its innovative, smart technology.â€
The mobile, with 12mm thin weighing less than 90 grams and popular for its S-Class UI has, 8 megapixel camera with LED flash (not with xenon lens as expected ) and D1 video recording, WiFi, GPS. It also has has 3 inch capacitive touch display with WVGA resolution, accelerometer, 3G support, Dolby tech with DivX /Xvi D support.
The LG Viewty Smart will launch in Europe this May and then hit other markets shortly after.
