LG GW620, LG’s First Android Phone Gets Official

LG has finally decided to take the Android platform seriously. The company will be releasing the Android-powered GW620 by the end of the year “in select European markets.”
The GW620 that comes in a slider form factor, revealing a QWERTY keyboard within. This QWERTY-slider (previously known as “Etna”) has “features a 3-inch full touchscreen” – that looks like a nice, big 3.5mm headset jack,  5-megapixel autofocus camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and GPS . LG have also seemingly done some work on the UI, though not to the extent of Motorola MOTOBLUR or HTC Sense; instead it looks as though LG’s S-Class UI has been ported over to Android.
