LG officially launched the Prada II smartphone today. A big surprise, it’s brought along a friend in the shape of a Bluetooth watch, the Prada Link. As we’ve already seen, the Prada II itself is a 3G HSDPA (900/2100MHz) device with WiFi, a 3-inch capacitive WQVGA touchscreen and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
The brand new Prada Phone by LG has also a new user interface, built around LG’s “active flash†menu system. There’s improved haptic feedback, so the phone vibrates when the screen is touched, as well as 3G with HSDPA and a 5 megapixel camera. There’s also Wi-Fi inside, a second camera for video calls and DivX playback abilities.
Prada Link watch, a Bluetooth timepiece that can monitor your calls and show your text messages without having to check your phone. And if none are incoming, just use it as a high-end digital watch. Trust us, it’s what all the beautiful people will be wearing this Christmas. Both are available this month in Europe, priced at around €600 ($867).
