Logic Wireless is unveiling its 2nd generation projector phone, the Logic Bolt1.5, today at the 2009 Fall CTIA Wireless conference. Back in January Logic Wireless released Logic Bolt 1.0, contained an integrated pico projector capable of projecting phone content on any surface up to 60 inches. The new Logic Bolt 1.5 is much smaller than the 1.0 and the software and OS have been upgraded, the company says.
Version 1.5 features LCoS display technology, 7 ANSI lumens, and VGA (640 x 480) resolution. The device can display images up to 64 inches, diagonally from a distance of only 2m (6.6 feet). The phone section features a 2.6 inch touch screen. Some of the features that Logic integrated into the phone include 3 hours of talk time, a microSD card slot, GSM quadband, and internet access. It is reported by Logic Wireless’s founder, Miran Maric, that the firm is working on deals with many carriers and distributors.
