Gizmodo revealed new pictures of two “Project Pink” devices, the Turtle and the Pure as Microsoft’s of new smartphone. The two devices are the result of the Redmond company’s Project Pink and are manufactured by Sharp. It’s also rumored that the phones are a result of Microsoft’s Danger purchase, the company behind the operating system in T-Mobile’s popular Sidekick devices.
One of the innovative smartphones is speculated to be codenamed the Turtle. It seems that this cell phone will have a square casing with round corners. The second mobile phone is supposed to be codenamed Pure and presents a candy bar like shell. It’s been reported elsewhere that Pink phones will include Zune services, and have its own app store, making it as close to the Zune phone as we may get. Both the Pure and the Turtle are designed specifically for those people that want affordable phones capable of more than just calling your friends.
