At Taiwan’s Computex 2008, Mio a Taiwanese manufacturer of GPS and PDA devices, launches two of its latest products named Mio Leap K1 and Mio Leap G50. Mio Technology has been a leading players in the mobile GPS industry. It launched the innovative  gadgets with dual sided viewing function. On one side the device features the GPS navigation and on the other, it sports a phone functionally.

Mio Leap K1 is powered by 400Mhz Samsung 2443 processor. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 The handset’s features include: built-in GPS receiver with 20 channels, A-GPS, MioMap 2008 (with a navigation mode for cars and one for pedestrians), 2GB of internal memory, Music and Video players, Bluetooth, a 2.0 Megapixel camera (with video recording), tri-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) and a battery that can offer a talk-time of up to 5 hours.

Mio Leap G50 is a full-touchscreen handset that runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and comes with the whole array of associated applications, like Outlook Mobile, Office Mobile and Windows Live. Furthermore, the G50 features a 2.8 inch TFT touchscreen display of unknown (yet) resolution and quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS and EDGE. The rest of its specs coincide with the ones of Leap K1: built-in GPS, MioMap 2008, Media player, Bluetooth, a 2 Megapixel camera with video and so on. Mio has not mentioned the prices of Leap K1 and Leap G50, nor where and when the handsets will be available. Anyway, both devices should hit the market in the next months
