MobiFrance has recently teamed up with Sony Ericsson to develop a concept phone called the French Luxury (FL). The FL is designed to commemorate France’s Independence Day by bearing a strong resemblance to the Eiffel Tower, the most recognizable French landmark. It won’t require users to purchase a separate stand or docking station to ensure that it can sit upright on its own. Imagined by MobiFrance, the “Sony Ericsson Eiffel Tower” should measure 115 millimeters in height and 45 millimeters in width. Due to the unusual form factor, the thickness of the handset varies, from only 7 millimeters at the top to 19 millimeters at the bottom. The Eiffel Tower mobile device features vibration mode and can be used for all multi-media functions. The phone itself has its speakers mounted on the sides, and also has a 7.2 megapixel camera. The luxury phone should bring a wide 4 inch OLED touchscreen display. There currently isn’t any price of date attached to the phone, though considering that the French Independence Day is July 14th,
