US handset major Motorola on Thursday said it is all set to roll out an affordable touch-phone in the Indian market priced Rs 8,000. The new device — Moto Yuva A810 — will be available here from next month, said Mr Lloyd Mathias, Motorola India’s senior director, head of sales (India and southwest Asia). Motorola has also customised the phone for the Indian market with features like SMS in Hinglish, a large phone book that stores 500 entries and ability to store 750 SMSes. Much is being made of the budget entry of the phone to the market – whereas the iPhone and Omnia came in at a premium (the Omnia cost a full Rs 39,000), the Yuva A810 will be coming in at less than a quarter of that.
Motoyuva A810 Available in two colours, the MOTOYUVA A810 is a chic touch screen phone that sports easy menu navigation, user editable shortcuts on the home screen, advanced handwriting recognition, copy-paste for messages and numbers, a large screen for easy browsing and email. You can also exhibit your artistic streak by sketching, drawing and doodling on the mobile phone. The phone include an inbuilt MP3 player, a 2.0 megapixel camera, an optional microSD card extendable up to 2GB, Bluetooth, GPRS with EDGE support, USB 2.0 and FM radio. Having said this of course, entry-level devices (at less than Rs 3,000) constitute more than 50% of the total handset market – but still, the aspiring consumers will look to those devices that are “just that bit better†– and as such the Yuva A810 could fill a nice gap.

This is one sorry…the worst mobile that I have ever seen…no battery backup…slow in charging…ringtones are almost hard to hear…ear phones not working properly…no chance of settings for auto lock to desired seconds…
Suggestion: Never buy this model.
