Motorola’s first step into the Android arena is coming to the United Kingdom in the form of the Motorola Dext. Through carrier Orange, pre-orders for the handset will begin on September 22nd, though pricing is yet to be announced.
Buyers will get a 3.1-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard with D-pad, 3.5mm headphones jack, 5-megapixel autofocus camera and 3G. There’s also Bluetooth, access to the Android Market and all the usual Google apps you’d expect from an Android device. The price of Motorola Dext may be about €150, but that remains to be seen. It also uses Motorola’s new MOTOBLUR sync system.
