After having stamp of approval from FCC, a new Motorola clamshell has been spotted at the FCC website which is named Motorola Ischia (or Motorola EM330). According to Moto (extracted from the User Guide of the handset), the new Ischia means a “music phone with a sleek design that’s sure to get attention.” But, when flipped, Ischia EM330 unveils a pretty small display and a set of large keys that look like they belong to a toy-phone. Seeing the design, it seems that Motorolla have to struggle hardly to reach its goal.
Its highlights include a VGA camera, FM radio, and Bluetooth connectivity. GSM 850 support is missing though. In addition, Ischia features: Push To Talk, a 3.5mm headset jack, Music player, dedicated music keys (both on the inside and on the outside), SMS and MMS capabilities, Voice mail, Web browser, handsfree, miniUSB, airplane mode, embedded games, microSD card support (for up to 2GB) and extended Chinese language support – which kind of makes it clear that the handset will first get to be released in China. There is no info on pricing for this one yet.
