The Motorola U9 pink, or purple are definitely for girls; the black edition can be used by male.

I love the clamshell design and i prefer the black version, but is it a little bit too rounded, it makes it more like a Children toy instead of a communication device. While the battery performance is relatively good, there are some critics among many users that the Motorola U9 has a tendency to turn itself off, and the metallic finish can scratch very easily.
