Telecom operator Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL) India is set to launch mobile TV next month.

TNL will initially have 21 channels on their platform. With Mobile TV, slowly but surely, we are witnessing the mobilization of what was a “lean-back”, in-home service, in to a “watch anywhere, anytime” on-demand service.
In some countries, as has been the case with simple voice calls, we may well even see the consumption of TV primarily via the mobile (data) medium, rather than via a cable/satellite system.
MTNL also would launch one value-added-service every month to increase its revenue earnings.

Can I get satellite TV if I live in an apartment or condo? Yes. All you need is an unobstructed view of the southern sky in order to get reception. Many apartment and condo residents install their satellite TV dish on their balcony or patio. You can also install your satellite dish on a moveable stand if permanent mounting is not allowed.
