Nokia has released new firmware for its N78 and N82 candybar smartphones. The Nokia N82 was updated to v31.0.016 firmware, and the N78 is now up to firmware v20.149.051.1. It is sad that this update adds UDP (User Data Preservation). UDP protects data stored in the phone memory so you don’t need to reinstall everything. Though, you’ll still want to make sure you’ve backed up any critical information before you apply the update. This is going to be great news for eager Nokia Nseries fans.
