Good news for Satio owners affected by the phone’s issues: there’s a new firmware out there for unbranded units. The new firmware is R1CA037.
Some issues with software led UK retailers Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U to halt sales of the Sony Ericsson Satio with it’s 12.1MP camera. Three days later, we followed up with an another report that the Aino, sporting an 8MP camera, was plagued by problems with the touchscreen.
Sony Ericsson declared that the new version firmware software will fix the power-down problem,besides,the Aino is still available in the US stores. One person who downloaded the upgrade told Just Another Mobile Phone Blog that the new firmware only made his Satio run faster.

My Satio has come back from Vodafone with a complete re-install of the OS. I have not experienced any of the problems I had before. It’s functioning perfectly and sounds are great. It comes with it’s 12.1MP camera. It is a good product. I agree with you.
