Nokia 2605 is the new cellphone available at Verizon Wireless. The new Nokia 2605 Mirage is available online at www.verizonwireless.com beginning today. The clamshell phone is also known as Mirage, and additional X-press-on snaps can be bought so the device can have different looks: flowers, animals, and stripes are the 3 options.
The handset sits at the more basic range of Verizon’s lineup and centers around its VGA camera and Bluetooth 2.0 support; data is limited to the older 1X RTT standard. The youth-oriented design is helped along by built-in support for Verizon’s Chaperone service to curb access, while all users have access to VZ Navigator for assisted GPS. The Nokia 2605 Mirage is available today online for $49.99 with a new two-year customer agreement after a $50 mail-in rebate. Customers will receive the rebate in the form of a debit card; upon receipt, customers may use the card as cash anywhere debit cards are accepted.
