Nokia will be unveiling three new Xpress branded phones starting from their low end phone, the 5030 Candybar and the 5330 Xpress Music and 5730. The fact shows that company means serious business as far as music-oriented handsets are concerned.
Nokia 5030 XpressMusic This is a entry level handset at a price of around Rs.2500 and would compete against Sony Ericsson R300 Radio directly Its a XpressRadio phone rather than a music phone. Theres a cool speaker at the back of the phone . You can listen to radio for upto 24hours using the inbuild FM Receiver.
Nokia 5330 XpressMusicThe next phone up is the 5330 XpressMusic slider, packing a 3.5mm jack, some sort of special light effects for the ravers in the audience, and 24 hours of listening time. It is scheduled to be available in the third quarter for €160 ($204)
Nokia 5730 XpressMusic has both a normal keyboard and a QWERTY keyboard. It has 3.2 MegaPixel camera, WiFi and GPS support, 2.2†QVGA TFT display and comes with preloaded 4GB Memory card. This phone runs of S60 3rd Edition FP2 platform.
A new XpressMusic home screen has been introduced in this phone, ie you can have a direct access to all your media, ovi contacts and many more. With dedicated gaming key, Nokia 5730 XpressMusic is also a great gaming device.
The 5730 XpressMusic will be available in the second quarter of this year in the shop for a suggested retail price of € 280 and in some countries, ‘Comes with Music’ service are offered.
