T-Mobile USA has announced its latest handset, the Nokia 5130 XpressMusic will hit the stores via T-Mobile. It has already hit Europe for some time.Th 5130 XpressMusic runs on Symbian S40 and is aimed at the youth market, including a music player with dedicated external controls. The 5130 also has 3.5 mm audio jack, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio, and 2 megapixel camera as part of the design.
Apart from that, the 5130 XpressMusic will also feature a 2″ QVGA display,and a microSD memory card slot. The Series 40 platform is running the show on this thin candybar phone, that’s available in two finishes: black red and pearl white. If you plan on traveling internationally, the 5130 has you covered with 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz gsm support, email, picture/text/instant messaging, 12 hour standby / 6 hours talk time
The device is available immediately at select T-mobile retail stores or online at t-mobile.com for $29.99 after a $70 instant discount and $20 mail in rebate (suggested retail is $119.99).
