Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition Announced

Nokia has expanded its Touchscreen device portfolio, by announcing the 5800 Navigation Edition. The Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition takes a standard 5800. The main differences are the added lifetime Drive and Walk navigation license and the cool looking stand and car charger that allow you to easily use the phone as an in-car SatNav unit.
The device ships with lifetime voice-guided drive and walk navigation licenses for Nokia’s Ovi Maps software and service. Included in the box is a Nokia self-mount car kit, consisting of a Nokia Car Charger (DC-4), Car Holder Pack (CR-103), Rotating swivel adaptor (AD-69) and Easy Mount (HH-17). Ovi Maps 3 includes a number of additions such as high-resolution aerial images, topographic map view, 3D landmarks, weather forecasts, premium travel services (traffic information and safety warnings) and an improved point of information database.
Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition will come in three different flavors, each packing quad-band GSM connectivity. Two of them will also pack WLAN and dual-band 3G with HSDPA, while the third one (we are guessing it will be available in either China or some emerging markets) will lack both connectivity options.

The 5800 Navigation Edition is inked in the diary for the third quarter of 2009 and is estimated to cost 285 Euros before all the usual regional taxes and subsidies stuff.
