Nokia’s upcoming phones make an official appearance in a poster displayed in Germany’s SMS Shop. The promo poster shows phones like Nokia E71, 6210 Navigator and the Nokia 5800 ExpressMusic. What especially caught my attention in this poster was the fact that this is the first time that Nokia 5800 is branded as ExpressMusic instead of the ExpressMedia! It could probably mean the phone will not be a “complete multimedia device”, but only one with advanced music features. Surely, this is just an assumption and until Nokia officially presents the 5800 we can’t be sure of anything.
From the rumored specs of Nokia 5800, the handset is packed with the following goodies: 16M color touchscreen, display3.2 Megapixel camera with auto focus, quad-band GSM global connectivity as well as 3G/HSDPA, Wi-Fi, built-in GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 and a 3.5mm audio jack. All these (plus the yet unrevealed specs) are said to be squeezed into a case that measures 111 x 52 x 14.5 millimeters and weighs 104 grams.
