FCC recently approved Nokia’s 5800i phone,but contrary to what the name suggests, it’s not a pure upgrade over the regular 5800 XpressMusic. Apparently, this new iteration is headed for China with WCDMA 900/2100MHz bands as well as quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity which is a good indication that it could debut on China Unicom. However for some reason, Wi-Fi has been left out of the new 5800i equation
Anyway, that’s all we have for now as far as confirmed specs go and for the rest of the specs, we’ll have to wait and see
