Nokia 6208c to use stylus for its touchscreen input

Nokia revealed its model 6208 classic to the public. As expected, the 6208c will be sold mainly across China, as it features support for Chinese language and characters, and a touchscreen display with handwriting recognition. With the large input area, the touch screen on this device is optimized to write Chinese characters and expected to hit select markets in the first half of 2009.

Beyond the stylus, the 6208c features a web browser, media player, and support for microSD cards up to 8GB. With a 3.2 megapixel camera, dual LED flash and 4x digital zoom, the Nokia 6208c makes capturing memories and sharing moments simple and easy. The case is lined with stainless steel both for aesthetics and to help ruggedize the handset. Nokia already has plans to expand the handset into other select markets, though there’s no word yet on just which it has in mind
