Nokia has unveiled the Nokia 6760 slide, Which is already known as the AT&T Nokia Surge. The phone will be making its debut in Q3 2009 for European buyers. Same as Surge, Nokia 6760 slide is a messaging optimized device with a sliding QWERTY keypad but most notably includes a 3.2 megapixel camera instead of a 2.0 megapixel one. Some of the packaged applications are also different.
Other features include a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display, up to 8GB microSD card support (with a 2GB card in the box) and A-GPS, along with Nokia’s mapping app with 3D landmarks and terrain mapping. The 6760 has Exchange support and provides access to Ovi Mail, Gmail, Yahoo! and Windows Live Hotmail email accounts. Users can also send instant messages with Google Talk and Windows Live and have access to Facebook and Twitter. The Nokia 6760 slide will be available in Europe during the third quarter for $285.
