Nokia 7230 with AT&T 3G gets FCC approval

Nokia announced the 7230 Slider Phone about a month now and the phone has just been approved by the FCC. The version of the device that FCC got to play with comes with 3G radio that sings on AT&T (NYSE: T)’s and Rogers (NYSE: RCI) Wireless’ bands – 850/1900 MHz.
The 7230 is a fancy-looking slider with decent features, including: 2.4 inch QVGA display, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5mm headset jack, Nokia Maps, stereo FM radio, 3.2MP camera and MicroSD card support. There’s no GPS and neither Wi-Fi, in case you’re wondering. No idea about the price and which carrier in North American will offer the phone, but in Europe, the Nokia 7230 is retail for about $150.
