Today, Nokia announced today the upcoming availability the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte, their new premium mobile handset. Â Nokia new premium mobile handset combines the design of the Nokia 8800 Arte range with materials engineered from carbon fibre, stainless steel, polished glass and titanium. Keeping with the Nokia 8800 Arte range, the 8800 Carbon Arte has a minimalistic and seamless surfaces, slide mechanism and lightweight feel. Crafted from an ultra light and strong material, it reflects 3D patterns, a modern feel and unique tones, textures and sculpted shapes. Nokia has not unveiled yet the full list of specs that the 8800 Carbon Arte comes with. However, the Finnish manufacturer did mention that the handset includes the following: GSM and 3G connectivity, 4GB of internal memory, a “stunning OLED display”, advanced audio quality, a turn-to-mute feature, a 3.2 Megapixel auto focus camera and an all-in-one microUSB connector. Also, the new Arte is dressed in “Nokia’s anti-fingerprint coating”, which should keep fingerprints away from its fancy case. Unfortunately, it is still a Europe-bound tri-band GSM, which means it won’t be fully usable in the States. The N8800 Carbon Arte is set to be released on the 3rd quarter of the year, priced at 1,100 Euro or around $1,600.
