Nokia 8800 Gold Arte Coming to Southeast Asia Pacific in Q2 2009

Nokia announced a new addition to its 8800 Arte range,  the latest handset to be added to the Nokia 8800 Arte product lineup. The phone will be available in selected markets in Southeast Asia Pacific from Q2 2009.  Featuring stainless steel parts with 18 carat gold plating and premium quality leather, the Nokia 8800 Gold Arte has a slide mechanism with precision ball-bearings, as well as soundtracks and living wallpapers created exclusively for the range.Another interesting feature of the phone is its turn-to-mute silencing mechanism, which comes as a hallmark of the range. Customers can discretely silence incoming calls by simply turning the handset over, with the screen side down.

In case you forgot, Nokia’s 8800 Gold Arte has 3G, a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera, OLED display, 4GB internal memory and micro-USB connector. According to the news on the Web, the newly unveiled Nokia 8800 Gold Arte will be made available for purchase on selected markets in the Southeast Asia Pacific. The phone is expected to hit the shelves in the second quarter of the year.
