Nokia Braille Reader is an experimental application that gives SMS for the visually impaired. Nokia Braille Reader gives a solution developed by Nokia Beta Labs and available for free as a download from here. The application has been developed in a joint project between Nokia, Tampere University and the Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired. The Reader brings the SMS to the foreground for reading using Braille and tactile feedback. Nokia Braille Reader is compatible only with Nokia’s S60 5th Edition smartphones: Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia N97, Nokia N97 mini, Nokia 5530, Nokia 5230 and Nokia. Here’s a video demo of the app
