Nokia E72, 5530 XpressMusic get official

Nokia released several new smart phones as part of their commitment to deliver compelling mobile solutions that can be personalized by users. At the Nokia Connection event held in Singapore today, Nokia unveiled E72 and 5530 XpressMusic which has been rumored. The event began with a keynote presentation by Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer Mary McDowell, who described Nokia’s vision of a world where people are “empowered to share and connect with what matters to them through highly personalized and contextually relevant solutions.”

The E72 is a monoblock phone with a full QWERTY keyboard for messaging. Nokia doesn’t provide an actual spec list for this device, but we do get a really good look at several of the features in the video.The E72 develops on the huge success and popularity its predecessor, the E71, by adding great new features and improvements. It now provides the desktop-like interface so popular in the E75, as well as combining multiple business and personal email in-boxes into one. The features include 5 megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack  , integrated compass, 10.2Mbps HSDPA, and an optical navigation pad. Feature Pack 2, and have a number of Nokia’s Ovi messaging services on board.The phone will hit in the third quarter for €350 (about $489)
