Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has announced today that its highly-anticipated business-oriented handset Nokia E72 is now available for purchase. The E72 comes with a QWERTY, has an upgraded 5 megapixel camera and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The E72 include Nokia’s signature messaging service, and also lets users set up Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk and Ovi Chat, all from the home screen for the first time ever.
The new E72 is as thin as the E71 (10mm), but comes with better features, like HSDPA 10.2Mbps and HSUPA 2Mbps,and 250MB of internal memory and a 600MHz ARM. The handset comes with a 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery that can deliver up to 12 h 30 min of talk time or up to 492 h of standby time on GSM. The estimated price tag is €350, or $524, before taxes and shipping.
