Nokia Pocket Power DC-8 is not promised fuel cell power pack, but it is still a little more than a fancy title for a classic portable spare battery. This one is diffrent because it uses standard 1.5 Volt “AA” batteries (manganese, alkaline or Ni-Cd) and it basically means that you can charge it with a compatible Nokia 2 mm charger or simply get some more power from the classic AA batteries purchased on the go.
AA batteries give you the flexibility to carry spares and easily swap them half way round a walk whereas the rechargeable option allwos you to use rechargeable batteries and reduce the costs.
