Ovi.com website has now officially launched! The new site brings all of Nokia’s online services and entities together in one, and adds a few new features, as well. From the Ovi.com homepage, you can easily get to Nokia Maps, N-Gage, Share on Ovi, and Files on Ovi. A new service was also launched, Sync on Ovi. There are 2 new features: calendar and contacts. These new features are encompassed in the new Sync on Ovi, which allows you to wirelessly synchronize your phone’s calendar and contacts to your Ovi account, for free!
To setup the sync, there is a really simple option to download the settings directly to your phone, and then you can manually choose to synchronize with the server anytime you please! Any changes you make are synchronized between your device and your online set, and you can conveniently use the web service to edit your contacts’ details and then sync those changes back to your phone!
