Nokia MID and Nautilus. New Linux based mobile

Nokia is committing very serious resources to the development of it’s own new Linux platform.  According to the Street.com one of them is what Nokia used to call Internet Tablet, will have a 4.2” touchscreen and “hidden slide-out keyboard. This Nokia MID is expected to ship in Q4, before Christmas.

But there is another interesting device called Nautilus (codename), which is said to have a ultra-thin touchscreen. The report suggests the Nautilus will have a sensor that is “used to extend or withdraw the keyboard into the phone” while the ultrathin is said to get QWERTY keys that rise when the keypad slides out for easier typing.

Sounds like a super cool device. Nautilus is expected to be in the market by mid 2010.
