It runs off a 320Mhz TI CPU, and 128MB RAM, and includes 256MB of flash storage and two SD slots.
Nokia N800 review by MobileWhack “Another thing that excited me recently was the announcement of Nokia’s contest for people to create new applications and hardware for the Nokia N800. I am hoping that some cool things come out of that that I could add on to it. Being open source, this thing has a lot of potential for customization for those that know how to do those sorts of things.”
Nokia N800 review by OSNews “Overall, the N800 is a good evolutionary step over the N770, but not without its flaws. If you want to get one of these two babies, get the N800 if you can, and only opt for the N770 if you find it in a very low price. For the price, at $400, I think that the N800 is a good deal considering that you can browse the web in a respectable way without having to carry with you heavy laptops. Regardless, we will make sure to revisit the device in the near future after updates and patches have been released from Nokia or when Skype has released their software for it.”
Nokia N800 review by MobileBurn “the N800 might not be worth the upgrade for current 770 users. For new users though, the Nokia N800 is a great device that will out-perform the 770 for just a bit more money. I still cannot see an Internet Tablet gaining mass-market adoption at this point in time, as I don’t know whether the functionality it provides justifies the cost, but I do love having the N800 around, and have become quite attached to it. If you have the money to spare, the Nokia N800 is great.”
