Nokia N95 8GB is getting the latest update v31.0.015 and is available for download from NSU. The latest firmware release is at version 31.0.015 and is stated to bring users some nice speed improvements in the camera and Web browser applications, along with some enhancements to the overall stability of the system. This (the full ROM, around 130MB) went live today for unbranded phones.
For users who want to perform the upgrade should take backup and synchronization measures before proceeding with the process. The reason is  as the Nokia N95 8GB does not include user data preservation, and your personal files might be lost. It is likely users are enabled to make the backup directly to their memory card and then to restore all data, which should prove a simple and efficient process.Â
Approximate changelog:
*Closing of the SDK security ‘hack’ for jailbreaking personal devices
*Minor bug fixes and cosmetic improvements
*Photo quality improvements (assuming same algorithm tweaks as for N95 classic v31…)
*Better browser stability and speed improvements
