A Nokia tablet like device headed for T-Mobile has been spotted at a filing with FCC. Some shots from Indonesian message board Kaskus of the tablet-like device shows the blurred box shot. The label behind the battery clearly say RX-51 prototype, and the design is unmistakably similar to the rumored press photo.
Here’s what this Rover will have to offer:
*Quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE, tri-band WCDMA (850/1700/2100)
*Bluetooth + EDR
*Wi-Fi
*FM Transmitter
*Slide-out QWERTY keypad
*Nokia BL-5J 1320 mAh battery
*5 megapixel Carl Zeiss lens
While a few days ago there was a report about a Nokia “superphone” based on Maemo 5 that is called Rover and which is heading to T-Mobile. It is predicted that the Nokia RX-51 is the Rover and that it will be an Internet Tablet based on Maemo 5. The phone will be available for T-Mobile USA subscribers and Nokia is expected to launch a range of new devices at Nokia World in September.
