The Guardian is reporting the Nokia will be announcing an Android smartphone at Nokia World in September. According to a report in the Guardian,’industry insiders’ claim Nokia is already developing an Android handset, claimed to be a touchscreen smartphone. It’s not some tentative research either, with those same insiders claiming Nokia will show off its new Android at the Nokia World conference in September, presumably primed for an assault on the Christmas market. Nokia is looking to increase its market share in the smartphone business. Although it’s the number one cell phones manufacturer in the world Nokia is losing terrain in the smartphone sector. While, Android market share is getting hotter and hotter and we’re going to see lots of new gadgets powered by Google’s OS. It is also reported that Gadget fans have already hacked one of Nokia’s existing devices, the N810 internet tablet, so it can run the Android system but the new device is expected to fully integrate the Android platform.
