Nokia Tube launching 2 October

Ready for more touchscreen phones? After months of speculation and leaks, Nokia is allegedly preparing to globally launch Nokia Tube on October 2nd according to Pocket-lint. The 2nd of October is the day that has been touted, as it coincides with the announcement for Nokia’s Comes With Music digital download service.

Nokia Tube launching 2 October

We’ve seen many a leak and tidbit about this phone but now it’s about to get official. We may have to part ways with the Tube moniker, however, as this device is likely to be placed under the XpressMusic heading. It would make sense, since it will launch in London at an event intended to introduce the Nokia Comes With Music service. Back in July, Nokia issued a statement that said: Our first touch device will be aimed solidly at the ‘mid-range’ or ‘volume’ part of the market. This device will be competitively spec-ed – especially considering the price point and will be announced in a few months”.
