Nokia has released Ovi Maps 3.0 to the world for most S60 3rd Edition FP1, FP2 and S60 5th Edition phones. You need to download a file on your computer, to install an application on your phone. The file you need to download to get Maps 3.0 on your device will only work with a PC.
Designed to perform a variety of location based activities, Nokia Ovi Maps features almost all the features you expect from a self respecting Navigation Software.It has an improved weather service, and offers point-to-point directions for both walking and driving. It also includes more points of interest. Nokia is also offering a beta version of Ovi Maps on the web, where users can organize and store POIs, favorite locations, plans and store routes and sync to their phones.
