AT&T plans to start selling the Microsoft Windows Phone-based Nokia Lumia 900 smart phone on March 18 at a price of $99.99 with a two-year contract. The folks at BGR claim to have gotten hold of a partial AT&T 2012 roadmap courtesy of a “trusted source”. This is not the first time we learn that the mobile phone might become available for purchase in March, but no specific info on its price tag has emerged until now. For a device that’s widely being considered a ‘flagship’ handset, the expected price of just $99.99 on a two-year contract is extremely competitive. The Lumia 900 is a pretty impressive phone and it is not entry-level device. It’s packed full of high-end features. It’s the first Windows Phone smartphone to support 4G LTE for speedy Web surfing and downloads. It also has a top-notch camera with Carl Zeiss optics, an F2.2 aperture lens with a 28mm focal length, and dual LED flash

Inspiration Work is planning on launching the line of kid-friendly (and parent-friendly, too) tablets in the UK sometime in July. The Kurio tablets come in 7, 8, and 9 inch screen sizes, and all of them come with removable rubberized cases that protect them from the inevitable oops moments. The Inspiration Works Kurio should be in UK stores in July 2012, with a price tag between £150-200; a fraction of top-end tablets such as the Apple iPad. The tablets come preloaded with a children-friendly custom UI and software that will allow parents to manage up to eight different accessibility profiles, limiting what apps and websites children can use. The 7-inch model uses a standard 800×480 screen, the 8-inch model gets a 4:3 800×600 panel and the 10-incher gets 940×600. All of them include 2-megapixel rear cameras with a .3 camera on the front. 4GB will have to do for internal storage, though they can be augmented with MicroSD cards
