May 3rd 2008 |

Hiptop3 bring you the first screenshots from the Sidekick Aspen/Gekko for mobile geeks, although it is not sure what the official name T-Mobile will give it. It’s ability for the device to change colors, assume that those yellow sides are going to be replaceable with your choice of colors. This device is going to be the followup to the Sidekick iD for sure, as it’s code name is Style 2 (the SKiD was codenamed “Style”).

T-Mobile branding on BlackBerry KickStart

BlackBerry KickStart come with a 2 megapixel cam, SureType, internal QVGA and external 160 x 128 displays, WiFi, OS is 4.6, and a true 3.5mm headphone jack.

There’s a two colors to launch with the KickStart and they’ll be anodized. Additionally, the back battery cover will either be a soft-touch rubberized finish, or a low gloss finish. We’d imagine some sort of customization opportunities for the end user with the low gloss finish. BlackBerry KickStart look like will release around September on T-Mobile.
