The FCC has revealed the first images of the forthcoming Samsung U440 clamshell. According to documents recently filed with the FCC, the sassy cellphone looks set to emerge Stateside on Verizon with the definitely unsassy designation U440. Samsung U440 looks very much like the Samsung Cleo because, well, it is. It’s got the clamshell form factor, square display, and full QWERTY keypad going on, so there’s no mistaking it.

The messaging oriented device will feature a QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera with video recorder, microSDHC expansion slot, media player, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, speakerphone, support for threaded SMS, and VZNavigator.Though how soon or for how much, we still don’t know, but it’s definitely coming

After months of rumors, leaks, and hints, the Fuze has made its fashionably late entrance onto AT&T’s online web store. HTC FUZE is a rebrand version of HTC Touch Pro. The HTC FUZE provides users with a familiar QWERTY keyboard paired with HTC’s TouchFLO 3D touch-screen user interface for easy one-touch access to a range of fun and powerful features.

Obviously, the Fuze is more expensive than the old Tilt. AT&T is offering the new HTC Pocket PC for $299.99, after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a 2-yr contract agreement. The Fuze is virtually the same as the HTC Touch Pro (available on Sprint—check out Ben’s review): 3G connectivity, 512MB flash storage, microSD expansion slot, Windows Mobile 6.1, 2.8-inch TFT LCD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, aGPS, 3.2-megapixel camera, and more.
