Philips D900 Smartphone kicks off in China
March 13th 2010 |Philips has recently announced a new smartphone for the Chinese market, called D900, This model, made in the form-factor “monoblock”, has a body with smooth contours,and touch screen. It has a fully customizable for a wide range of intelligent applications and features an open mobile platform – Pocket PC, game consoles, and phone since then combined into one.
The technical side of Philips D900:

*Dimensions: 60,5 h15h101, 2 mm
*Weight: 147.8 gr.
*Display: 2.8-inch touchscreen, TFT, 240×320 pixels
*Camera: 2 megapixel CMOS (CMOS) with video recording (MPEG4, 3GP / 176×144, 352×288)

The D900 will be distributed to China Telecom very soon, however, there’s no word on pricing yet.
HTC Smart launching in India soon for Rs.10000
March 13th 2010 |HTC is planning to launch its low priced Smart touchscreen handset in India by end of the March this year with an expected price tag of Rs.10,000. This mobile device is said to be the first non-smartphone from the company as it is powered by BREW.
The new HTC Smart Phone is equipped with Qualcomm processor with 300 MHz, and is quad-band GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and 3G HSDPA 2100 network ready featuring a large 2.8-inch 240x 320 pixels 256K color TFT QVGA resolution Capacitive Touchscreen display, Accelerometer sensor and Sense UI interface.
You can use 3MP camera of the phone to capture good quality images as it features flash and fixed focus but the camera of the phone is not capable of video recording.
Moreover, It has 256MB RAM, 256MB ROM, USB, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, 3G Connectivity. Its other features includes audio and video player, stereo FM radio with RDS, 16 GB expandable memory, 3.5 mm audio jack, 1100 mAh battery, up to 450 hours stand-by time and 7 hours talk-time. Wi-fi and GPS are missing features in the handset.

Mobiado Classic 712GCB luxury phone announced
March 13th 2010 |Luxury handset maker Mobiado is out with a new phone called Classic 712GCB. This handset is touted to be an “expression of mechanical perfection, mastering of aesthetic details, and the integrity of consistent craftsmanship.” The Classic Mobiado 717 GCB is definitely alluring with its body blended with gold and stainless steel and hand polished CNC machined frame from brass. It is then plated with a chunky gold coating.
The phone can run on any GSM network operator. The device is quad-band GSM and encompasses triple band WCDMA Band I, II and VIII coverage on up to five continents. The handset sports a huge 2.2-inch QVGA display, and includes a 5 megapixel camera and video camera with flash, also 1.17GB of memory. Moreover, the device is equipped with GPS, web browser, email support, and a music player that is compatible with AMR, MID, MP3, MP4, M4A, .WMA and AAC files.Dimensions of Mobiado Classic 712GCB are 111.6×45.2×12.1 mm and weight is 189.7g. Mobiado didn’t announce the price of Classic 712GCB.
LG launches stylish GD350 clamshell phone in Russia

The handset comes in clamshell formfactor and with really stylish design, combining gold and black colours. It features red LEDs and an external display that shows notifications for incoming calls, messages and the current date/time
