Firefox 3.5 Final

The Mozilla Firefox development team has finished the final version of Firefox 3.5. Official Firefox 3.5 Final download goes live. Firefox 3.5 Final is available with all of its speedy, tab tearing, private browsing, Javascript gobbling, plugin-less video playing glory.
At the moment the official Mozilla web page where you can get Firefox 3.5 displays the RC3. If you do not want to wait until Mozilla updates its official download page, you can get Firefox 3.5 Final from other locations.

Nokia Java Runtime 2.0 for S60 Devices

Nokia Beta Labs has formally launched a next-gen Java Runtime for S60 5th Edition. Nokia Java Runtime 2.0 features several enhancements that should “make it much more fun for you to enjoy the thousands of games and apps available in Ovi Store and elsewhere.”
Nokia Java Runtime 2.0 for S60 (JRT 2.0) is a totally re-written Java mobile execution environment for Nokia S60 devices. It gives you several usability and performance improvements, including:
•One-click application installation
•Improved application launch user experience (users get a ‘loading’ animation, to reassure them that they *did* tap the icon, etc
•Improved execution performance (faster Java apps)

Samsung Jet goes to Korea as W850/W8500/W8550

So now the Samsung Jet S8000 is available in its hometown, Korea which will be available in three different versions namely the Samsung W850, Samsung W8500 and Samsung W8550. Previously, Samsung Jet S8000 has been already available in the UK. Three different versions namely the Samsung W850, Samsung W8500 and Samsung W8550 are actually not at all different, but they have different names for the carriers they’ll be available on: SK Telecom, KTF and LG Telecom.
Specs-wise, the W850 / W8500 / W8550 offers slightly more than the Jet S800: DMB support, and a WVGA AMOLED display of 3.5 inches (as opposed to Jet’s 3.1.
The specs include a 3.5-inch WVGA AMOLED display, a 5MP autofocus camera, Samsung’s latest TouchWiz 2.0 UI, a media player, a DMB support, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Philips Xenium X630

Philips has unveiled their latest handset namely the Philips Xenium X630 that boasts a super long battery life. It is quite elegant and functional monoblock. The device can work out without recharging the battery the whole 50 days, while the models are usually long series Xenium able to withstand about a month. The X630 doesn’t have 3G connectivity, and most of its features are mid to low-end.

Other interesting specs include a 2.4-inch QVGA display with 262k colors, a 3.2MP camera, a music player, an FM radio, a microSDHC card slot (up to 8GB) and Bluetooth with A2DP. Philips Xenium X630 also feature a small tachpad or optical trekpad, which is located below the display. At least as far as can be seen in the image, it is precisely this element of control. The price of Philips Xenium X630 is not known at the moment.
